I drew this image one summer and became a tourist for the day. You forget what you have only 60 mins away from your doorstep! I am always drawn to how people use buildings or the landscape around them. Carrick-a-rede rustles up a mixture of emotions in people.
At my St George's Market stall many tourists tell me their experiences of crossing the bridge. Many are very proud of themselves that they 'made it'. Others are bemused at what all the fuss was about.
Northern Ireland is home to the most incredibly scenery. It is aw inspiring and completely refreshing. A cobweb blowing extravaganza. Anyone who visits our magical little country needs to take a trip to the Rope Bridge…and yes, even if it's raining. It adds to the drama!
