An A5 mini print postcard of the Giant's Causeway Flax Fox sketch.
Last summer I took myself up the North Coast and sketched the famous Giant's Causeway. At first, I had no idea which part of the rock I was going to draw first. Fin Mc Cool's boot? The Chimney Stacks? or the Basalt Columns?? hmmm, it took me a while to figure it out but then I just sat there and watched what people were doing…...
It was fascinating. they reminded me of little ants scampering over the stones.
So I put pen to paper and this is what I came up with. It was a lovely change to sketch a scene rather than a building this time. So I decided to also draw the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge too. It's part of my 'North Coast Sketching' blog.
The Giant's Causeway image is also available in a Tea Towel.
Lots of customers buy these postcards in multiples so they can frame them up and display them as a set. So feel free to have a browse around my postcard section and see if there are any other designs you would like to compliment The Giant's Causeway.
