Did you know each county has a flower? Belfast's is the bright yellow coconut smelling Gorse.
I've smelt it on walks around Cave Hill and Castlereagh Hills and to be honest never paid too much attention to it.
Until I found what you can make from it! Syrup, candles, soap, wine and gin. The #jamjargin company has a gorse cocktail recipe that sounds interesting
Who'd of known this thorny hardy bush could be so soft, sweet and versatile? And, maybe that's why it's voted the Belfast Flower....
