A mug version of our original hand pulled screen print depicting the iconic St. Georges Market. One of my favourite spots, St George’s Market is one of Belfast’s oldest attractions and is recognised as one of the best markets in the UK and Ireland.  St Georges Market is a truly special place to me. It's where Flax Fox began in 2011.

Being part of the market makes me proud to be in Belfast. Meeting new visitors every weekend makes me aware of what the city offers. I'm always recommending our amazing restaurants, checking where visitors are staying and giving them tips of things to do and see to make the most of their visit. The most common feedback I get from tourists is "everyone is so friendly and nice - I just love Belfast and I especially love this market!".

It's also such a joy to meet people who used to live here. The amazement on their faces is something that makes me smile. Belfast is changing, and the market seems to be the place to go to chat about this change - over a cup of coffee!

One of my favourite changes of late is how Belfast has made a huge effort to make the city more cycle friendly. On a sunny day, I stuff my sketchbook in a bag - jump on my bike and take in the lovely sights our city has to offer. For me, it's the best way to experience Belfast.

So, when I pour myself a cup of tea after a day of sketching, I look at my lovely mug and think what a fantastic city we live in. What a nice thought to have.
